Пляж

Снарягу обслужили хорошо, чек-дайв прошёл на отлично:

☑️Видел огромную рыбу-кузовок, прямо не box fish, а 40ft container fish
В общем, теперь отпуск на самом деле начался!

A couple weeks ago, I took someone's older windows 10 desktop that was taking 10 solid minutes to boot and was painfully slow after that...
And converted it to #nixbook #linux
This is a non technical woman in her 60s and her equally untechsavvy husband.
I followed up with them today to see how its going.
YES! Normal people can use #linux
I tried nixbook on my old laptop with Nvidia 650 (MacBook pro 10 from 2013 specifically) and it didn't work for me because this card is so old and driver installation process for someone without technical knowledge isn't possible (I've managed to do it only after downgrading the kernel to 6.12.40 and choosing a legacy driver version according to Nix wiki, which isn't the thing that a normal person could ever do).
So I think it's worth adding a note into project's readme. A note about using it with old/incompatible hardware.
I'm impressed by the work that you've done, I love NixOs, but unfortunately your solution didn't work for me, so I think adding a note about the things said above would be awesome.
