Short answer: Hell yes.
After completing the full migration and running in production for weeks, I can confidently say GoToSocial is ready for serious use.

Потихоньку стал заедаться и на кошек сестры - не подпускал их к хозяйке. Очень ревнивый. В итоге вернулся в приют, у сестры нервов не хватило на него.

Какие чудные горочки. Как у нас на Витебщине местами и по краям Минской возвышенности. На дорогах их хоть немного сглаживают. А если ехать полевыми и лесными, то там совсем весело. 😀

probably it might be worth a shot filing a bug report upstream? Consider though that the timezone db uses the anglicized name for all cities, which might explain why they went for it

Well, and since I set up this computer almost form zero, it's time to make an ansible playbook that will install all required packages the next time I need it.
And where I will be also able to get all the list of packages I usually install. I wanted to have this list for years...
Okay, so the only thing stopping me from installing Debian 13 on my main laptop if the fact that I don't ed to back up/clean 600Gb of data in home folder
swap, hibernation, may be zswap/zram, tpm2-pkcs11 for ssh privkey, makedeb, libvirt, code editor of choice... And do not forget about disabling CoW under any DB/virtual disk

Absolutely awful advice.
Disabling CoW breaks any safety btrfs provides.
At that point you might as well just use ext4 with data=journal, you'll get better safety than btrfs with CoW disabled *and* better performance. CoW is necessary for all of its data-integrity features.
Неделю назад запустили плиточника в квартиру, думал в первую неделю особо ничего не сделает, но был приятно удивлен. В туалете уже проложены трубы канализации, некоторые трубы воды, частично сделан вывод на кухню и установлена инсталляция, такого объема работ я конечно не ожидал, приятно удивлен
Nice. When I first started at the FSF we used a bastardized version of Fedora Core 2 or 3 I think for quite a while before finally getting something else Debian based but I ran Fedora on my ThinkPad for around 2 years from 2009-2011 before switching to Ubuntu until 2021. I really liked how Red Hat 9 looked with the Bluecurve thing but I understand people working on it didn’t like that.
Nice! Fedora Core 4 was where I truly started my Linux journey. I remember literally staying up all night until the dawn getting ndiswrapper setup so wifi could work.
I was worried when Red Hat announced that their non-enterprise distribution was going to become the community-driven Fedora, but it's worked out amazingly well. If I didn't use Fedora, I'd probably use Debian.
My first Linux distribution was Yggdrasil. When that went away, I tried Debian, but back then the Debian install process was like playing 20 questions, except that it was a lot more questions, many of which totally stumped me, despite my having been a Unix user and programmer since 1984. (Clearly Debian fixed that at some later date.) Red Hat Linux was easy to install, which continued with Fedora.
Fun personal fact: First time I tried to install Linux, I downloaded and burned Fedora *source* isos which didn't work (5 discs, IIRC). I then successfully downloaded and installed DEBIAN (only 1 disc), but got a command line prompt. After testing every DOS/NT command I knew, I never got a GUI, so I went back and burned the proper Fedora Core installer (another 5 discs).
In an alternative reality, I would have been a Debian loyalist.
To be clear, I still respect Debian to this day. They have some truly incredible community members. Most of my personal raspberry pi stuff still runs some manner of Debian.
а в телескоп их разве можно увидеть? У него же узкое поле обзора. Изначально эти ошметки летят типа из одной точки, а попадают на атмосферу и дают вспышки - в разных. Лучше, мне кажется, из высокой точки глазами смотреть - наблюдал немного раньше. Один раз был белый росчерк на пол небосвода меньше секунды... Уж не знаю, какой тут телескоп. А за атмосферой в вакууме там разве есть свечение, что можно видеть в телескоп, это же не комета всё-таки?
Teeny tiny Parmelina tiliacea lichen and Orthotrichum moss forests on a twig. It looks so magical, it makes me wish I were an adventurous little ant so I could explore them.
