Matrix.org matrix server is filtering telegram links in non-encrypted chats.
1. Matrix.org users won't be able to send messages with links to telegram channels.
2. They won't be able to see links you send them.
3. I have no idea how many filters exist for another domains.
4. You likely won't know if another person has seen your message with a link.
5. That's very bad. It shouldn't work this way.
6. Not to mention that these type of filters are bad by themselves.

Не думаю что их судьба сильно волнует кого-то. А если Китай решит потратить ресурсы у себя на периферии в каких нибудь "специальных операциях", на западе будут этому только рады, хотя официально конечно будут критиковать и может быть даже поставлять военную помощь для поддержки конфликта.

We could do what I think you’ve done, and regex the details of the attachment into ! [] ()
To be clear, this pull request doesn't use regex, it's just JSON deserialisation and string interpolation.
I’ve never actually seen a Mastodon user try to add an image to something that ended up as a Lemmy comment, tbh, so it’s not something I’ve thought too much about.
The pull request actually includes one, the main KDE account tags !kde@lemmy.kde.social and includes pictures in their threads regularly. It's just hard to tell from our side as you can't see what's missing.
Ah, great, thank you. It's been added as an Issue for PF now, with a link to this post, so that'll be handy.

Это был мой первый хороший телефон.
Он мне как родной, ведь мы прошли с ним долгие и полные событий 5,5 лет. Он ни разу меня не подводил, и прожил жизнь интереснее чем у некоторых людей.
За этот срок я успел полностью поменять свою жизнь, и сейчас нахожусь на пороге уже второго перерождения, к которому он меня так же заботливо провёл. И на этом пересечении думаю будет самое время с ним попрощаться.

У знакомых такой же, так у него не так давно экран меняли. И мне принесли для замены АКБ, машет дальше...
Аккум к примеру в полном порядке. Родной все 5 лет стабильно день держит.
В остальном живой и работает, но за все время использования по моим подозрениям у него хорошо так деграднули ячейки памяти.
И до этого 1 гиг оперативы не то чтобы вывозил, а плюсом к тому убитая память уже совсем не даёт ему стабильно и быстро работать, сколько бы его не прошивал, так что принял решение заменить
Да и по многим другим факторам он к сожалению морально устарел
Ну может на вторичке удастся продать. Если кому надо.... Если совсем не нужен
Пущу лучше на какой нибудь проект. Видел из них мозги для роботов делать можно, или вон осциллограф простенький
А пока будет гордо лежать в моей пирамидке из телефонов

Хеш функция bcrypt использует только первые 72 символа входа.
Поэтому если вы берёте хеш от имени+пароль, то длинное имя обрежет пароль.
Мне кажется, argon2 круче сделан и лучше переходить на него.

Есть конкретные алгоритмы для квантовых компьютеров, которые взламывают конкретные шифры (например, RSA).
Но есть шифры для которых нет алгоритмов взлома их на квантовых компьютеров (как минимум пока — но нет гарантий, что их найдут).
Ну и это всё касается только шифров, а не хеш-функций.
Он же вроде бы как угадывает, но атакой скоростью.
Да и точно не знаю, но вроде была инфа, что показывают лишь те тесты, которые под его задачи и заточены.
Как и с любым железом абсолютно...

На своём серваке и даже и OpenVPN пока работает, если его не расшаривать посторонним.
Мне амнезия не понравилась тем что там официальная документация для установки предлагает тупо взять их клиент, вбить туда рут доступ к серверу и клиент типа сам всё на сервере установит и скорфигурит. А вручную это надо билдить модули ядра и прочая возня какая-то. Да ну нафиг, мне обычно ssh туннеля хватает, это не работает в телефоне, но там особо и не нужно пока.

Enshittification can be thought of as the result of a lack of consequences. Whether you are tempted by greed or pressured by people who have lower ethics than you, the more it costs to compromise, the fewer compromises you'll make.In other words, to resist enshittification, you have to impose switching costs on yourself.
That's where federation comes in. On Mastodon (and other services based on Activitypub), you can easily leave one server and go to another, and everyone you follow and everyone who follows you will move over to the new server. If the person who runs your server turns out to be imperfect in a way that you can't endure, you can find another server, spend five minutes moving your account over, and you're back up and running on the new server.
Any system where users can leave without pain is a system whose owners have high switching costs and whose users have none. An owner who makes a bad call – like removing the block function say, or opting every user into AI training – will lose a lot of users. Not just those users who price these downgrades highly enough that they outweigh the costs of leaving the service. If leaving the service is free, then tormenting your users in this way will visit in swift and devastating pain upon you.

Bluesky lacks the one federated feature that is absolutely necessary for me to trust it: the ability to leave Bluesky and go to another host and continue to talk to the people I've entered into community with there. While there are many independently maintained servers that provide services to Bluesky and its users, there is only one Bluesky server. A federation of multiple servers, each a peer to the other, has been on Bluesky's roadmap for as long as I've been following it, but they haven't (yet) delivered it.That was worrying when Bluesky was a scrappy, bootstrapped startup with a few million users. Now it has grown to over 13 million users, and it has taken on a large tranche of outside capital.
Plenty of people have commented that now that a VC is holding Bluesky's purse-strings, enshittification will surely follow (doubly so because the VC is called "Blockchain Capital," which, at this point, might as well be "Grifty Scam Caveat Emptor Capital"). But I don't agree with this at all. It's not outside capital that leads to enshittification, it's leverage that enshittifies a service.
A VC that understands that they can force you to wreck your users' lives is always in danger of doing so. A VC who understands that doing this will make your service into an empty – and thus worthless – server is far less likely to do so (and if they do, at least your users can escape).
