Есть упражнение, суть которого сделать одну вещь несколькими способами. В какой-то момент приходится включать фантазию на полную.
Например: как выйти из vim -- но это шутки ради.
Например сделать 10 фото цветка: сверху-сбоку-снизу, в контровом свете, с росой, макро, фильтры -- вспомнишь-сделаешь, то дальше уже придется серьезно подумать.
Переписать один и тот же код, скрипт десятком способом -- иногда приходят озарения.

i think i said this before, but i am very suspicious of so-called "cross-platform" applications that treat one platform as more important than others
like if an app's windows and linux versions both use Qt, but mac gets a custom-designed native UI
if you're paying so much more attention to apple users specifically, you better be selling that program on the app store and financing the overall development that way imo
not disagreeing with you here, but what if it depends on which platform developers are willing put their free time into?
Keeping the core logic outside of UI implementation also sounds like an interesting challenge for the first time, if you're a student, and there isn't a better way to test this skill than making two independent UIs.
