I personally would word it a little different but otherwise this danemadsen is speaking in the language of truth.
When some application, which has nothing to do with coding goes "to download our application please go to our github" and gives a link to their main page there it is so frustrating. Especially when there is actually a built version of application lying on git but first you have to *find* it like if it was an easter egg or something.
It is great source code is available for everyone, don't get me wrong. But, for example, consider buying a car. You are shown an amazing car, you pay for it, but then salesperson goes 'to get your car please go to a factory and it will be there somewhere in the back, and if there isn't any please feel free to assemble one by yourself, I assume you know how to do it and don't need an instruction because we didn't bother to wright any.'... And in this metaphor you aren't a mechanic with 10 years of experience of building cars
