@feld I mean that usually this option "TearFree" is recommended with driver "Intel" like this:

The issue is that the "intel" driver description literally says "don't use it if your GPU is never than 18 years old" and you'll better use "modesetting" driver then.
Yes, it works, but it breaks quite a lot of stuff, including some steam games, hardware video acceleration in a browser and also causes some app glitching.
The issue is that for some systems (including Debian 13) if you don't specify "Intel" driver this option won't work at all because the support isn't implemented in that "modesetting" driver.
Well, technically it is in this pull request from 2022.

So to fix the tearing on my laptop I had to download xorg source package from Debian and apply this pull request as a patch.
It worked pretty well and stable by the way.

Did you know that your Linux system has deep built-in French language support in literally every filesystem directory?
So now you do. Most graphical file managers already support it properly out of the box. But not command-line instruments.
When you want to delete a folder or a file, you should always delete a separate French version of that folder. It's really faster and saves more free space on your disk.
Just instead of using:
> rm someFolder
You should type
> rm -fr someFolder
And you'll never deal with French remains of the folder again.

Было бы странным обвинять в проблеме только одну сторону - системный подход нас учит тому, что нужно исследовать все элементы системы. Понятно, что ответственность взрослого несоизмеримо больше и инициатива исходит от него, но у ребёнка есть право на бунт и он им обязательно воспользуется, особенно в подростковом возрасте. Другое дело, что часто этот бунт сводится к формуле: “отморожу уши на зло бабушке”.
