What I'd suggest is rather than specific edits and such, an understanding of the reasons, planning, and process involved. The place to start is with Ansel Adams and Fred Archer and their development of the "Zone System" c1940. They were part of a photography renaissance that began in the 1920s with "Group f/64". -Phil

"Padun" waterfall on Vincha river. North Karelia, Aug 1997. This is an artificial water channel made for timber rafting purpose in the middle of 20-th centure. Not used anymore.
