What I'd suggest is rather than specific edits and such, an understanding of the reasons, planning, and process involved. The place to start is with Ansel Adams and Fred Archer and their development of the "Zone System" c1940. They were part of a photography renaissance that began in the 1920s with "Group f/64". -Phil

Good compo and well done photo! Pine trees, because they're softwoods, invariably grow perfectly balanced [15 years a logger ;)>]. And can be used in post to determine the true horizontal/vertical. -Phil
